Our Mission

We use autosomal genetic genealogy to reunite African families that were separated during the Transatlantic Slave Trade. Within these newly reformed ancestral families, we encourage identity development and a sense of belonging among reunited family members, and community building and development within the communities in which relatives reside.

Our History

The African Kinship Reunion became a 501(c)3 organization in 2019.
