Towards an African Multi-household Family Reintegration Theory

[Page under construction]

This project examines the family reintegration process of people of African descent who have identified relatives among first generation Africans and established communications with them. (Relatedness was previously determined by research participants using autosomal DNA testing.) This is a grounded theory project that is situated within multi-household family, transnational family, forced migration, and remote enculturation literatures.

This project is the dissertation project of LaKisha David and informs the Northern Ghana Family Reintegration project.
